Fly Fishing

Fly Fishing Tampa Bay and all of Florida’s Gulf Coast offers some of the most exciting yet relaxing days on the water. Fly Fishing is one of the reasons that our mission statement is “Hooking you on one of life’s pure pleasures”. The time spent on the water fly fishing is probably the most peaceful yet challenging ways of pursuing fish using artificial lures. Catches range from Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Trout, Cobia and Permit. If you’re looking for some true solitude on the waters of the gulf coast, this is the charter for you. One of our most memorable moments this year was guiding a client to catching a 170 lb. Tarpon on a 12 weight fly rod during the spring in Tampa Bay.

Inshore Fishing

Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Permit and Cobia. Fishing the inshore waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast from Tampa Bay to Boca Grande can offer some of the biggest variety of species to catch. Redfish in February, March, April and again in October as well as November. The best times for Trout are December, Janaury, February and March. Tarpon fishing is done exclusively in Boca Grande in late April thru June, and the beginning of July. Snook can be fished most of the year with the exception of November, December and January. Permit fishing is offered in May and June.

3/4 day  (6 hours) $ 525  
Full day (7-8 hours) $ 600 can accommodate 4 people 

Fly Fishing Charters

 1/2 day  4-5 hours $ 425   
3/4 day 6 hours $ 500  
Full day 7-8 hours $ 575 can accommodate 2 people

Tarpon Fishing Charters:

 3/4 day
 6 hours $ 700 (A.M. 6a.m.-12p.m. or 7a.m.-1p.m.)
(P.M. 1p.m.-  7p.m. or 2p.m.-8p.m)
Full day 9 hours $1000   
Doubles 12 hours $1200  
Additional  hours $  100 These charters can accommodate up to 4 people

All charters will be booked upon a deposit of 25%. An information sheet will be sent to each customer providing contact info, maps to docks, confirmations and policies. Cash, Check, Visa and MasterCard accepted. 

What to bring:
Sunscreen, towels, camera, food, extra clothes, hats, lightweight, light bottomed shoes. We provide bottled water, sodas, all gear, licensing and a clean, comfortable atmosphere.

All pricing for group event to be determined by consultation.

Also at Go Florida Fishing we encourage you take in some fantastic fishing from other areas around the coast. You tell us where you’d like a trip and we’ll take care of the rest!
