Captain James Goodwin is a full-time, Tampa fishing guide who was named Captain of the Year by The Outdoor Channel. He co-starred in the reality television show, “The Tarpon of Boca” in 2007 and has appeared on WFLA’s “Reel Animals” Fishing show, ESPN’s North American Fisherman, Sun Sports, WFN, and has completed filming a second season of “The Tarpon of Boca.”
Captain Jamie has also appeared in many magazines, articles, and advertisements in Florida Sportsman, Shallow Water Angler, Saltwater Sportsman, Gaff, and many others.
For the past nine years, he has owned and operated Go Florida Fishing out of Palm Harbor, Florida. His experience, passion, and skill make him one of the most sought-after Florida fishing charter captains in the area. He conducts Florida fishing charters more than 300 days a year!

Captain Jamie is U.S. Coast Guard licensed and operates a fleet of three impeccable vessels — a 17′ Maverick HPX Tunnel, a 23′ Dorado, and a 2202 Century Bay Boat. Highly professional, (but personable and easygoing!), Captain Jamie and his crew are committed to the best possible customer service, comfort, and safety. “This is our livelihood,” he explains, “we’re in this to make our customers happy.
